Navigating the Idea Marketplace at Remarkable Venture with 4 Simple Tools

Welcome to the Remarkable Venture, an idea marketplace.  Here we will show you how to navigate the tools you need to transform your great idea into profit.  Remarkable Venture is designed to help you through the entire process:

Four Main Tools

  1. Blogs – Understand invention method.
  2. Groups – Develop and execute a good strategy with help from the community.
  3. Directory – Find resources within the community to optimize your progress.
  4. Listings – Find the right company or team to turn your idea into profit.

 

1. How to find Blogs (Learn the Method of an Idea Marketplace)

Blogs are articles that help you learn about method and provide insight.

  1. Click on Blogs at the top of your screen. (See picture below.)
  2. Search for the articles that will help you  
  3. Click on the one you choose to read. “Remarkable Venture Inventing” is a series of 35 articles that walk you through the entire process.

2. How to find Groups (Develop Strategy for Your Ideas)

Groups are discussion topics that you, as a community member can join to have discussions, ask questions, gain insight, and create a strategy. 

 

3. How to Explore the Directory (Find Support for Your Ideas)

The Directory is a searchable screen that allows you to locate support for specific services needed to develop your ideas.

  1. Go to Explore at the top of your screen and click on Directory.
  2. Search the profiles to find the assistance you need.

 

4. How to Locate Listings (The Execution of an Idea Marketplace)

Listings provide the tool to organize and showcase your idea, then find the right company or team that can execute, turning value into profit.

 

Add Listings:

  1. To Add a listing, click on Add Listing at the top of your screen. (See picture below.)

 

Explore Listings:  

  1. To explore listings, click on Explore at the top of your screen. (See picture below.)
  2. Search for listings that interest you.
  3. Click on the listing you choose.

Inside listings are 3 headings: Details, Reviews and Contact

  1. Details explain the important information about your idea but do not disclose details of the intellectual property in most cases.
  2. Reviews provide valuable feedback from the community to the listing owner for optimizing the listing.
  3. Contact opens a contact form and non-disclosure agreement so that inquiring companies can complete and notify the listing owner that they want to learn more.

 

Additional Features

There are several other features that you will discover as you explore Remarkable Venture:

  • Community member profiles – Click on anyone’s picture to learn more about them.
  • Ratings and reviews – All Listings and Profiles have ratings and reviews that reflect community response.
  • Notification bell –  Located at the top right of your screen alerts to various community actions and engagement.
  • Collections –  You can select the bookmark icon on all Listings, Blogs and Groups to create collections for easy access later.

 

Now that you know the basics, the next steps are:

  • Explore Remarkable Venture and practice navigating the tools.
  • Read the Remarkable Venture Inventing Series made up of 35 articles to get a more in depth understanding of the idea marketplace.
  • Join the community
    • Participate in groups and engage with community members.  We all have common goals and interests, so it makes sense to support and encourage each other.  You will learn quickly that this community is optimized to help each other so that we all learn, grow, achieve our goals, and mutually benefit.
    • Help others in the community by giving constructive feedback, suggesting listing improvements, offering new inventing techniques, suggesting good vendors and answering questions from your own experiences.
    • Share other community member’s listings with companies you already know and on social media.  Let them know you shared to make great connections that can help you later on. 
    • Invite friends that have an interest in inventing and idea creation of any kind.
  • Give feedback to Remarkable Venture by using the Contact Us link under Resources (at the top of your screen).
    • Describe features you like or dislike.
    • Suggest new features that would be helpful.
